Our metal paints and primers cater for many sectors and purposes: priming new construction materials, cladding, structural steel, heat resistant purposes, anti-corrosive protection to marine and off-shore environments, tank and pipe lining coatings, and treating and even covering rust – though we do have a great range of metal primers we also offer a selection of direct-to-metal paint too.
PRIMERS
Our primers come in single pack solvent-based, 2 quick drying, High build zinc phosphate primer Colours: Red Oxide, Light Grey Gloss Level: Matt.
Our range of primers are suitable for application onto various substrates including metal and steel. Ideal for customers requiring high throughput with structure.
Direct to Metal Paints
A comprehensive range of direct to metal paints (DTM coatings – coatings that don’t essentially need a primer) which can be directly applied to different kinds of metal surfaces without the need for a separate primer, which even includes paint to use directly on to rusted metal.
DTM – Direct to metal paints are created to provide your metal substrate with protection from corrosion, yet provide a good cosmetic finish at the same time. These easy to apply paints are perfect for your projects that have a tight turn-around and perhaps even a limited budget.
Our coatings are created for areas both interior and exterior and can be applied by brush and roller or spray to ensure a quickly completed project without compromising on quality.
Drying times may vary depending on weather temperature and airflow.

Choosing Floor Paint
Paint is typically used for concrete, block paving and indoor surfaces as well as all other surfaces outdoors. While it is available in a wide range of colours, great care must be taken when choosing products to be used in food processing factories or warehouses as organic solvents may taint produce.
Traffic paints adhere well to concrete and block paving, but VOC’s, odour and slow drying should be taken into account.
The traditional chlorinated rubber formulas are gradually being replaced by water-based equivalents and other alternatives such as epoxy paint, applied by airless or air assisted equipment or by roller and brush. Water-based acrylic paint is ideal for environmentally sensitive areas, while hard wearing methylemethacrylate high performance paint is often used for wet night marking.
